You prepared so well but now nothing makes sense. You thought you’d feel happy and glorious and now you don’t seem to enjoy anything. Your birth was anything but what you imagined it would be and you can’t stop crying when you think about it.
Tell me more.
Maybe you know these feelings.
My birth left me with feelings I can’t explain.
I am so sad because I thought my life with baby would be different.
I am so overwhelmed being pregnant and everything changing.
I know these feelings too. But this is not about me.
I am not going to tell you it’s all ok. I am not going to put a bandaid on it and tell you to push your feelings aside. It’s rough. It’s raw. And it’s honest.
You don’t feel great. And that is worth acknowledging.
Tell me more. Let me listen. Let me walk alongside you.
Sometimes you don’t need a course. You need someone to talk to.
Maybe you lie awake at night and can’t explain why. Maybe you used to know yourself. And right now you don’t. Maybe it all feels different than you thought it would.
In our sessions we make space for what is actually happening. We might talk about fear of birth. About feeling out of control. About who you are becoming – and what you are leaving behind. About the gap between how motherhood looks
I work with breathwork and body awareness alongside honest conversation. This is rooted in experiential therapy – the understanding that real shifts happen not only through words, but through felt experience, through presence, through what is alive in this moment.
I don’t work with what should be.
I work with what is.
Right now, in this moment, in this body – that is where we begin. Not with what happened. Not with what comes next. With what is here, right now, as you are.
Maybe what is here is exhaustion. Or grief. Or a feeling you can’t name. Maybe it’s the birth you can’t stop replaying. Maybe it’s the love that is there and the joy that isn’t. Maybe it’s just a heaviness you carry and don’t know how to put down.
You don’t need to understand it before you come. You just need to bring it.
POSTPARTUM SUPPORT
This is a one-to-one online session for women after birth. We don’t work toward a goal or a conclusion. We work with what is present – in your body, in your breath, in the room between us.
The breath is always now. That is where we start.
I work with honest conversation and presence. My approach is rooted in experiential therapy: the understanding that what matters is not what happened, but what is alive right now – in your body, in this conversation, in this moment.
I won’t tell you it gets better. I won’t rush you toward recovery. I will be here, with you, in whatever this is.
WHO THIS IS FOR
You have given birth – recently or not so recently – and something is still sitting with you. A difficult birth. A body that doesn’t feel like yours. Sadness without an explanation. The feeling that you should be somewhere other than where you are.
You don’t need to be in crisis. You just need to feel that something deserves more space than it’s getting.
